Student Portal Guide

Learn how to use your student portal to track progress, request lessons, and communicate with your driving school.

Student Portal URL

Access your portal at /student or /login

Accessing Your Portal

Getting Portal Access

  1. 1Your driving school will send you an invitation email
  2. 2Click the link in the email to create your account
  3. 3Sign up using the same email the invitation was sent to
  4. 4Once registered, you can log in at /student anytime

Logging In

  1. 1Go to /student (or /login and select Student)
  2. 2Sign in with your email and password
  3. 3You'll be taken to your personalized dashboard
  4. 4If you forgot your password, click 'Forgot Password'

Your Dashboard

Dashboard Overview

  1. 1See your next upcoming lesson prominently displayed
  2. 2View quick stats: lessons completed, hours driven, lessons remaining
  3. 3Check your overall progress percentage
  4. 4See your theory and practical test status
  5. 5View recent lessons and achievements

Understanding Your Stats

  1. 1Lessons Completed - Total lessons you've finished
  2. 2Hours Driven - Total time spent behind the wheel
  3. 3Lessons Remaining - How many lessons left in your package
  4. 4Test Readiness - Your preparation level for practical test (0-100%)

Managing Lessons

Viewing Your Lessons

  1. 1Go to 'Lessons' from the sidebar
  2. 2See all your upcoming lessons with dates and times
  3. 3View past lessons to track your history
  4. 4Each lesson shows instructor, vehicle, and location details

Requesting New Lessons

  1. 1Click 'Request Lesson' button
  2. 2Select your preferred instructor (optional)
  3. 3Choose preferred dates - you can add multiple options
  4. 4Select lesson type and duration
  5. 5Add any notes or special requests
  6. 6Submit your request and wait for confirmation

Lesson Request Status

  1. 1Pending - Waiting for school to review
  2. 2Scheduled - Approved and confirmed with date/time
  3. 3Rejected - Not approved (check reason provided)

Cancelling Requests

  1. 1You can cancel pending requests before they're scheduled
  2. 2Go to your lesson requests
  3. 3Find the pending request
  4. 4Click 'Cancel Request'

Tracking Progress

Overall Progress

  1. 1View your lesson completion percentage
  2. 2See how many lessons you've completed vs total
  3. 3Track your total driving hours accumulated
  4. 4Monitor your test readiness score

Skills Tracking

  1. 1See skills worked on across all your lessons
  2. 2Instructors mark skills covered during each lesson
  3. 3Track which areas you've practiced most
  4. 4Identify skills that may need more attention

Test Status

  1. 1Theory Test - Shows if passed/pending and score
  2. 2Practical Test - Shows status and readiness percentage
  3. 3View historical test results
  4. 4See dates of completed tests

Rating Lessons

Providing Feedback

  1. 1After each completed lesson, you can rate it
  2. 2Go to your past lessons
  3. 3Click on a completed lesson
  4. 4Rate from 1-5 stars
  5. 5Add optional comments about your experience

Why Rating Matters

  1. 1Helps your school improve their service
  2. 2Provides feedback to your instructor
  3. 3Helps other students when choosing instructors
  4. 4Your feedback can be anonymous if preferred

Messaging

Contacting Your School

  1. 1Go to 'Messages' from the sidebar
  2. 2Click 'New Message' to start a conversation
  3. 3Select who to message (instructor or school)
  4. 4Type your message and send
  5. 5You'll be notified when they reply

Viewing Conversations

  1. 1All your conversations appear in the messages list
  2. 2Unread messages are highlighted
  3. 3Click a conversation to view the full history
  4. 4Messages show when they were sent

Certificates

Viewing Your Certificates

  1. 1Go to 'Certificates' from the sidebar
  2. 2See all certificates you've earned
  3. 3Certificates include: Theory, Practical, Completion
  4. 4Each has a unique verification code

Certificate Types

  1. 1Theory Test Certificate - Awarded after passing theory test
  2. 2Practical Test Certificate - Awarded after passing practical test
  3. 3Course Completion Certificate - Awarded for completing full course

Your Profile

Viewing Your Information

  1. 1Go to 'Profile' from the sidebar
  2. 2See your personal details
  3. 3View your assigned instructor
  4. 4Check your enrollment date

Updating Your Details

  1. 1Click 'Edit Profile' button
  2. 2Update your phone number
  3. 3Update your address information
  4. 4Save your changes

Get the most out of your student portal

Request Early

Submit lesson requests well in advance to get your preferred dates and times.

Add Multiple Dates

When requesting lessons, add several date options to increase chances of quick scheduling.

Check Progress Regularly

Monitor your test readiness score to know when you're prepared for your practical test.

Prepare for successful driving lessons

Be On Time

Arrive a few minutes early for your lessons. Late arrivals may result in shortened lesson time.

Bring Documents

Always bring your learner's permit and any required documents to your lessons.

Review basic vehicle controls before your lesson if you're driving a new vehicle.
